Ragnarok Online 2 Reaches the West
Being in development for several years, Ragnarok Online 2 was a nearly forgotten pipe dream, even after all the hype the original built up almost a decade ago. In 2010, it was even completely scrapped and re-announced all over again as Ragnarok Online 2: Legend of the Second.
While it finally was released on the Gamebryo engine last year in Korea, there were only a few quips of localization...

Review- LEGO City: Undercover
Since its rebirth with Star Wars, The LEGO series of video games has grown to become extremely popular with gamers young and old alike. It’s tackled many beloved licenses, from Batman to Harry Potter. Recently, though, many critics have claimed that the series has become stale, with the same core gameplay and only minor additions for every new iteration. But it appears that developer TT Games...

Pretty Cure returns to the West... as Gangnam...
Credible sources are listing a localization of Smile Precure, last year’s iteration of the popular magical girl franchise, Pretty Cure. This time it comes with a very “interesting” choice for a title, Gangnam Girls.
Starting from a site on Nickelodeon News and then substantiated by a press release on Cynopsis Media, it’ll be the second time Precure has been dubbed since...

Review - Bioshock Infinite - "Prepare to get mind...
So, Bioshock Infinite, the third installation in the lucrative and innovative series hits shelves and I have to say, it not only raised the bar, but blew it out of this world. Set in the very beginning of the 20th century, it takes you to the floating city of Columbia, devised by a genius scientist and an egotistical man claiming superiority over the common folk. (Sound familiar Bioshock fans?)...

Review - Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
This game was on my buy-list ever since Monster Hunter 3 G was announced in Japan. I first got into the Monster Hunter series by Monster Hunter Tri. I fell in love with all of the games soon after, going back to Freedom Unite and realizing Tri was soooooooooo much easier. But just because I am a fanboy, doesn’t mean this game is solid gold.

Review - Knights of Pen & Paper
Review – Knights of Pen and Paper (iPhone)
There was a time when the call of adventure didn’t come with an epic destiny, a damsel in distress, or a daemon returned from the depths of hell. This was a time when you and four friends picked up staff, sword, dagger and hammer to kick evil in the shins for gold and glory. Knights of Pen and Paper celebrates those golden years and...

Ground Kontrol: Ten Years After
Portland nerds hold a special place in our hearts for Ground Kontrol. It’s been a hub of awesomeness and sheer vintage gaming nerdery since 1999. But in 2003, Ground Kontrol was purchased by a new set of nerds that had different, and more grandiose ideas for the place. Current VP, and good friend of mine, Anthony Dandrea, takes a look back at the history of this Portland icon.

Review- Bit.TRIP Presents Runner 2: Future Legend...
It’s no secret that the Wii U has been host to a minimal amount of titles in 2013, physical or digital. So when indie developer Gaijin Games put their latest installment in their Bit.TRIP series, Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien, on the Wii U eShop last month, it was enough to turn more than a few heads. Is it an oasis in the drought of Wii U software, or is it not a good enough excuse to...
