You know what I need in my life? A new Guilty Gear that wasn’t some weird and confusing strategy hybrid or sidescrolling beat-em-up. You know what I’m getting? A new Guilty Gear game called Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign-. At this point we only know Sol, Ky, and Millia are in it but I’m just forward to more murderous rage at I-No and Dizzy not being relegated to strategy smut RPG’s anymore.

Super Robot Wars OE gets its first trailer, briefly showing off some of the gameplay mechanics, as well as new animations for a few of its headlining units.

New franchises to this iteration, which still has more series to be announced, include: Zoids: Chaotic Century, Patlabor, and Sgt. Frog.

This PSP downloadable title will be episodic with eight chapters planned for distribution starting this Summer. The first episode will cost 500 yen and additional chapters will be 1000 yen. There is also a ”Season Pass”-like option for 6,480 yen.

The anime site for Watashi ga Motenai no wa dō Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui! (Watamote for short) has been updated with an airing month and early artwork.

Tomoko Kuroi is a unkept Freshman who yearns for the attention of boys at her new High School. Unfortunately, she soon learns that she is quite the opposite of what people would consider popular, and many of her special interests don’t carry over to normal society. The original manga that this anime is based off of has had a large cult following grow over the last year due to the facial expressions and awkward black humor contained within.

The series starts this July in Japan. Yen Press has announced that they are localizing the manga later this year.

The Fate series by Type-Moon is known for its many alternative universes, and timelines. But now, the long awaited Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA manga is getting an animated series. This version of the franchise stars Illyasviel (Ilya) von Einzbern, originally a side character and adoptive sister to main character, Shiro Emiya. In this spinoff, she becomes a magical girl in a far more peaceful (albeit far-removed) version of her world.

A newish production company, Trigger, has released official subs for their new anime project, Little Witch Academia. This is the end product of the 2012 Young Animator Training Project, which introduces and trains new artists with funding from Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs.

A standalone story about a school of magic, some young witches embark on whimsical and dangerous training exercises in this 26 minute long adventure.

Kamen Rider Battride Wars shows off more of its opening cinematic and flair in this new trailer, narrated partially by Hōchū Ōtsuka and featuring a song by the Kamen Rider Girls.

This PS3 beat’em-up features all of the Heisei riders in a new world, and teams them up against their dangerous rivals from each series. The trailer also demos the new forms of Kamen Rider Wizard and Beast, who recently appeared in their television series. Battride Wars comes to Japan on March 23rd.

For years, people have wanted high-quality Pokemon action figures. It took a long time for Bandai to come around and release some, but oh man did they deliver. So far we’ve gotten Mewtwo, Charizard and Blastoise (who are all hanging out in the gallery), but the big news is that we can finally show you Venusaur who was one of the first ones shown off! However, he was marked Do Not Photograph at the time.

It’s almost impossible for anyone to get any Harmonix related info out of Nick Chester. Lucky for you, he and I have a special bond that cannot be broken. We managed to get him to reveal some info to us at PAX Prime 2012 after coercing him with a free can of Golazo.

In this interview, he reveals that Harmonix is hard at work on 3 projects currently, and he even gives me the name of one. Unfortunately due to the strictest of NDAs, I am not allowed to reveal that name to you. Enjoy this video anyway!
